Residents get knitting for the donkeys

On Monday 13th December, two residents of Bowhays Lodge Sheltered Housing visited The Donkey Sanctuary with a box full of lovely knitted donkeys.
Iris Slater and Julie Goswell are part of a large group of residents who have made it their mission to help both The Donkey Sanctuary and The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust. They are particularly keen to help the Veterinary Department in their quest to provide treatment for sick donkeys.
Elves and snowmen ... what a party!

Following on from the success of Alex, Tom and Leigh of Stones Solicitors in Exeter in raising over £700 for EST, the Family and Children team came along to a Christmas party to join in the fun.
The three solicitors took part in a sponsored beard shave in December and having got used to their newly-smooth faces, also volunteered to come along to a Christmas party at EST Sidmouth and help out. Whether they bargained on dressing up as elves and snowmen or not is a different matter!
