We know that many EST supporters are also supporters of The Donkey Sanctuary in Devon who hold a candlelight service in Devon. We have decided to hold our very own service here at EST Manchester on Wednesday 9th December 2009 and very much hope that it will be a lovely start to the festive season.

A donkey-riding centre for children with special needs and disabilities in Abbey Hey, Gorton, Manchester is launching an appeal for those looking for something a little different this Christmas. The Centre is inviting people to adopt a donkey as a gift for a friend or relative to help support its work.

EST Manchester will be holding a Christmas Fair/Saturday Club on Saturday 5th December 2009 from 10.00 am till 3.00 pm. Come along and meet the donkeys!

Our theme for this year is the 'Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe' with a fabulous wardrobe style grotto. Come along and join in the magic, there is something for everyone, young and old alike.

Well what a weekend we have just had!

All our donkeys have have been absolute stars this weekend. Saturday just gone was our regular Saturday club that we run every third Saturday in the month, we also had a birthday party at the end of the day for one of our regular special needs riders . Altogether we did 50 rides between the hours of 10am till 2.30pm, all our staff and volunteers were great and worked so hard, thats dedication for you.
