The centre is hosting its annual Summer Fair which promises to be a fun-packed day for all. Activities available include traditional country fete games, Maypole dancing from St Pauls RC School, have-a-go dog agility from Canine Capers, Devon and Cornwall Constabulary Road Crime unit, have-a-go African Drumming, South Hams Hawks & Owls display, inflatables, Adopt A Donkey, a BBQ and much more! Admission and parking is free.

Bob Venn, centre manager, says: “The Summer Fair is our biggest fundraising event of the year and we’ve organised some great activities to keep the whole family entertained. Visitors will be able to meet our donkeys, take part in games and enjoy the dog show at 2.00pm. All the money raised at the Summer Fair will be put towards building a trail ride around the centre to give children fantastic riding therapy sessions in the great outdoors.”

EST Ivybridge provides donkey riding therapy to 150 local children with special needs and disabilities from Plymouth and the surrounding area each week. For further information, please telephone 01752 690200.
