Eleanor
Eleanor has been regularly going along to EST Leeds with her mum and other members of her family since 2005. Now aged 5, Eleanor has become a very confident little girl who is always talking about her visits to the centre and looking forward to seeing William, her favourite donkey!
In three years, Eleanor's mum has noticed that Eleanor's hand to eye co-ordination has improved considerably. She has also learnt the sequence of traffic lights and understands what they mean. The regular sessions have also helped Eleanor to use her vision to full potential.
Shirley says "The centre has a really friendly atmosphere and the facilities are great. There's an outdoor play area for the kids to all play together as well as the riding centre itself. From a parent's point of view, it's nice to be able to relax with other parents in the same position as you and know that the kids are safe and benefiting from regular therapy sessions that are fun for the children."
