Samuel
Samuel used to attend EST Sidmouth on a weekly basis, but now goes regularly to EST Ivybridge since it opened in 2007 as it is much closer to home and his school.
Samuel has Down's Syndrome and is hearing and visually impaired. Through riding the donkeys his self-esteem has grown. His balance and co-ordination has improved greatly along with his listening skills.
Samuel's mum, Christine says "Samuel adores riding the donkeys and he visits the centre with his school, as well as attending with a holiday club and once a month on a Saturday. It's a wonderful place for him to come and his confidence along with his independence is improving all the time".
"My husband John, Samuel and I are always made to feel welcome and the staff are always there to listen and support us. You really are made to feel part of a family and you can relax in the knowledge that your child is happy in this professional and highly safe environment."
