Donkey summer fair in Sutton Park

A donkey-riding centre for children with special needs will be holding its Summer Fair in Sutton Park on Saturday, 13th June, from 11am to 3.30pm and admission is free!

The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys will be providing activities for the whole family including bouncy castle, face painting, a display from South Staff dog training, a fun dog show in the afternoon, a choir from Ferndale School, adopt a donkey on the day, stalls, refreshments, BBQ and much more.

Sue Brennan who runs the centre in Birmingham says: “Please come along and support our special day with your friends and family – our lovely donkeys are waiting to meet you!

“With so many activities available there will plenty for everyone to see and do. Any funds raised on the day will be a great help to our charity, which relies entirely on donations.”

The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys provides valuable riding therapy to 150 children with special needs at its centre in Sutton Park and the surrounding area each week.
