Elisabeth Svendsen TrustEST Ivybridge Barn Dance: Friday 21st May from 7.30 to 11.30pm
The Parents & Friends Association at the Ivybridge centre of the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust (EST) is organising the evening of fun and do-si-dos to raise funds for a new sensory garden planned for the centre.
Alongside the dancing, there will be live music with a caller, and a BBQ and bar to keep dancers refreshed. Tickets cost £6.00 each and can be purchased by contacting the centre on (01752) 690200.
Ivybridge centre manager Bob Venn says: “We hope this barn dance will prove to be a fun and popular way for us to raise funds for our sensory garden. The garden will be an added facility for our centre where the children will be able to enjoy the interactive and fun outdoor activities and also ride around as part of their riding therapy experience.
The Ivybridge centre of the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust (EST) provides donkey riding therapy to around 150 children from 29 local schools each week and is entirely reliant on donations to fund its work.
