With the World Cup well under way, football mania has even rubbed off on us donkeys!

So many visitors have been talking about the World Cup lately that I decided to see what all the fuss was about and practise a few ball skills myself As you can see from my video, I’m a pretty talented donkey and can lend my hoof to most things!

The visitors got pretty excited watching me have a kick around in the yard and not only was it good fun showing off my skills, but I got to sample some of the tasty pony nuts that were inside my treat ball too. I found that I could get to them even quicker when I dribbled the ball around with my nose.

Now that’s my idea of a good game- I might be the next Wayne Rooney if I keep this up. The only problem was, I was having so much fun, I wasn’t too keen on the idea of passing the ball to anyone else!

Now talking of exciting events coming up, a date has finally been announced that is even more important than the World Cup; my Retirement Party. I can’t say too much about it at the moment friends, as it is still top secret, but I have a feeling that you may need to keep Saturday 11th September free in your diaries- more news to follow soon!
