Car Boot Sale at Ivybridge donkey riding centre
The Parents and Friends Association of an Ivybridge charity providing donkey riding therapy will be holding a car boot sale on Sunday 8th August 2010 from 10.00am until 12.00pm at their Filham Park centre.
The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) at the Ivybridge centre of the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys (EST) is organising the sale to raise funds for the centre’s planned sensory garden.
Sellers are invited to clean out their cupboards and come along from 9.00am to set up stalls. Pitches are available for £5 per car or £8 per van.
Refreshments will be available, and admission and parking is free for buyers who will be admitted from 10.00am until 12.00pm and are sure to pick up a bargain!
EST provides donkey riding therapy to over 150 children with special needs and disabilities from the Ivybridge area each week. The centre provides its service free of charge and relies upon its supporters for donations as it does not receive any government funding. It is supported by the PFA which helps raise funds and encourages parents, friends and supporters to be involved with its work.
