Welcome to The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys' press office! We're located at the charity's national headquarters near Sidmouth in Devon.

In addition to sending out regular press releases, we handle all enquiries from the press and broadcast media about our work throughout the UK and can quickly source the information you need or put you in touch with expert spokespersons. We also have access to high quality images and film and would welcome you to visit our main Sanctuary to learn more about our work.

Our normal office hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm and during out of hours can be contacted on a duty mobile phone.

The Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys (EST) is a UK charity providing unique donkey riding therapy to children with special needs and disabilities and therapeutic visits for adults in care homes and hospices
Six EST centres: Belfast, Birmingham, Ivybridge, Leeds, Manchester and Sidmouth with plans for a further two centres to open in the coming years
108 donkeys live at the EST centres
Over 850 children visit EST centres each week for donkey riding therapy sessions
The charity’s Outreach teams visit over 520 residential homes, nursing homes and hospices each year as part of its Animal Assisted Therapy program
EST makes no charge to the parents, families, schools or residential homes that use its services
