The Bible reports that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey on Palm Sunday (which falls on 1st April this year), and each year international animal welfare charity The Donkey Sanctuary is asked to illustrate that link by taking donkeys to church.

EST Manchester Spring Fair is being held this year on Saturday 17th March 2012. The day starts at 10am until 3pm, where there will be lots of fun fun all the family. Attractions incude ride or cart rides for every child, any child under 7 stone will be able to tackle our themed obstacle course, which includes an easter egg lucky dip. For the bigger children there is a lovely cart ride through the woodland. We have lots of stalls to browse including a cake stall, bric a brac, used toys and a teddy tombola, there will even be childrens amusement rides.

After a fantastic Summer Fair on Saturday, the winners of EST Manchester's Grand Raffle are:

The very popular prize of a Manchester United signed football was won by ticket number 194. Following the passing of our dear founder Dr Svendsen on 11th May, EST Manchester is holding a service of remembrance and celebration of her life on Friday 1st July 2011, to coincide with the service being held at the Sidmouth sanctuary on the same day.

The first service will begin at 11am with prayers, hymns and poems plus the opportunity to look back on Dr Svendsen's remarkable life. The service will be followed by a light lunch afterwards, served at around 12:30.

EST Manchester has been involved with Aiming High since August 2010 and now put on special riding sessions during school holidays plus an Aiming High day on the 1st Sunday of the month.
