Leeds

EST Leeds is situated on the outskirts of the city in the beautiful area of Eccup. It was officially opened on Tuesday 29th September 1999 by Dame Thora Hird, who has sadly passed away since, and in the company of Councillor Denise Atkinson.

Around 180 children with special needs and disabilities from 33 local schools in the city and surrounding areas benefit from donkey riding therapy at this centre each week.

Spring raffle prize winners

On Saturday 14th April 2012, EST Leeds held their Spring Fair. Over 350 visitors went along as well as over 90 children completing a donkey obstacle course in the indoor area. This consisted of Chicken on a Spoon, Rings round slalom poles, riding through straw bales and throwing a ball into a net. All the children received an Easter Egg after they dismounted.

We had many stalls at the fair, one selling delicious cakes (which were home baked by our wonderful cook Lynne), a Lucky Bag stall , Toy Stall, Adopt a Donkey Stall.
