EST Belfast Candlelight carols and Nativity evening - Sun 18th Dec

EST Belfast is holding a Nativity and carol service by candlelight on Sunday 18th December from 4pm.

The evening will include carols from the Glengormley Methodist Youth choir. Children who visit the centre throughout the year for riding therapy will be taking part in the Nativity procession accompanied by the centre’s donkeys.

Admission and parking at the centre is free and there will be plenty of delicious festive food along with opportunities for visitors to meet and greet the wonderful 13 donkeys and adopt one as an alternative Christmas gift.

Twilight sessions at EST Belfast

EST Belfast welcomes children from across County Antrim for riding therapy sessions. The team of staff were delighted to receive this thank you from a new family who have started coming to the Twilight sessions on Wednesdays. It's wonderful to have this reminder of the amazing difference that visits to EST can make.

Charity Bed Push in aid of EST Belfast and The Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice

On Saturday 29th October 2011 a team of staff and volunteers from EST Belfast, Larne Masonic Lodge and The Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice raised an amazing £3,000 pushing a bed 15 miles, from Carrickfergus to Larne and collecting donations locally at ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Super Value.

Sponsored walk and ride for EST Belfast - 9th October

EST Belfast is inviting walkers and horse owners to take part in a sponsored event on Sunday 9th October 2011 at 10am.

The sponsored walk and horse ride will take place in the tranquil surroundings of Delamont Country Park in Killyleagh.

The walk is suitable for all ages and fitness levels and covers a maximum of six miles although shorter routes are available for little feet.

Celebrity chef James Martin hosts fundraising dinner for EST Belfast - 22nd September

Celebrity chef James Martin will be hosting a black tie dinner at Barnaby’s Restaurant, Ballyclare, on Thursday 22nd September from 7.00pm to raise funds for EST Belfast.

The ‘Dinner by James Martin’ event will include a four course meal and dancing to classic American songs provided by a top US Motown group and proceeds from the evening will be donated to Templepatrick’s Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children and Donkeys (EST) which was officially opened by the Princess Royal in June.
