Our Weekend Club is now open most Saturdays and Sundays from 10am - 2pm.

Some weekends the Centre is closed due to events in the park which restrict the access to the Centre. Please check beforehand that the Centre will be open.

These clubs are for special needs children and their families.

Every child can take an active part either riding on a donkey or in our specially adapted cart for those who are too tall or heavy. There is also a play area and sensory room for the children to use.

Coffee and tea will be available, juice for the children.

These clubs are entirely free.

Please contact us beforehand to make sure the Clubs are still being held and that the Park is open.

Our holiday drop-in club is an open visiting time when children with special needs are able to visit with their families, and ride the donkeys. It is also a chance to relax over a cup of tea/coffee and meet other parents and carers. During half-term EST Ivybridge will be running a Holiday Drop-In Club.

Sessions are from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.

It is also a chance to visit our adoption donkeys, relax over a cup of tea or coffee, enjoy a freshly cooked lunch at our café and meet other parents, carers and supporters. Please do come along any time between 10.00 am and 2.00 pm, there is no need to make an appointment.

Saturday Clubs will run the 2nd Saturday of the month throughout the year with the exception of August (Summer fair).

Weekend Club at EST Manchester is an open visiting time when our special children are able to ride the donkeys with their brothers and sisters. Rides are booked in as you arrive between 10am and 1pm. It is also a chance to visit adoption donkeys, relax over a cup of tea/coffee, bring a picnic or have a snack and meet other parents, carers and supporters. We close at 3.00 pm when the donkeys are ready for tea and a well earned rest.

Sidmouth Saturday Club is an open visiting time when our special children are able to ride the donkeys with their brothers and sisters. It is also a chance to visit adoption donkeys, relax over a cup of tea/coffee, bring a picnic or have a snack and meet other parents, carers and supporters.

Saturday Club is held on the second Saturday of the month (with the exception of April and December, when we have some alternative seasonal activities).

Saturday Clubs are open between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm.

Please note the last donkey therapy ride will be at 12.45 pm.

During half term holidays, EST Sidmouth allocates 'Drop In' days. This means that children with special needs are able to visit the centre with their families and enjoy the facilities that we offer, free of charge.

While waiting for their turn to ride a donkey, the children can play with the toys in the specially adapted indoor and outdoor play areas, as well as the very popular sensory room. On these occasions, the children's siblings are also welcome to attend and enjoy a donkey ride! This is a lovely opportunity for them to take pleasure in an activity together, which it is not always possible for them to do otherwise. It is also an opportunity for parents to socialise and speak to those in a position similar to themselves, while enjoying some of the light refreshments on offer.

All drop in dates will run from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Holiday Club drop-in days give the children the chance to socialise in a fun and non-judgemental environment, where their parents will be safe in the knowledge that their children are with trained professionals, dedicated to the well being and development of their child.

Please note that children over 7 stone in weight will require a donkey cart ride and we kindly ask that you provide us with notice, should this be required. Please contact us to let us know if you will be joining us for a Drop In.

Birthday parties

Please remember that EST Sidmouth is available for birthday parties for children with special needs. We provide the centre, staff and donkeys for riding and you provide the food and guests – why not have a children's entertainer to keep the children occupied when not riding.

Parties can be held on a Wednesday after 4pm. If you would like to book the centre, please contact us.

Twilight Club is similar to our Saturday Clubs in that parents can come along with their children during school term time only and share in the achievements their children have made. The club offers a great opportunity for parents to meet and chat as well as support each other in a safe and friendly environment. It also offers an opportunity for the children themselves to meet other children and join in the fun and games.
